Silence has a tangible mass to it in this valley. Utter tranquility. And if tou stay for the night (Fritz Pflaum Hütte) you will also experience a kind of darkness city nights never see anymore. Added benefit: no cellular reception here. Just you and the mountains - very meditative and humbling, in an area that is quite crowded during the season. But not here.
