    The Dundas Aqueduct is an impressive 18th-century structure built to carry the Kennet and Avon Canal over the River Avon. Designed by John Rennie in 1797, it was completed in 1805. The aqueduct consists of three arches built using golden Bath Stone, spanning 19.5 meters (64 feet). The aqueduct is a Grade I listed building and, in 1951, became the first canal structure considered a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

    Road cycling

    The Dundas Aqueduct carries canal boats over the River Avon, crossing the Somerset / Wiltshire county border. The Kennet and Avon Canal passes over the aqueduct.

    Designed by engineer John Rennie, the aqueduct was opened in 1805. It's named after Charles Dundas, a politician who was the first chairman of the Kennet and Avon Canal Company.

    The aqueduct is Grade I listed. In 1951, it became the first canal structure to be listed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
