Mountain biking
This is where the earth spirit Linkenbold, the legendary figure after whom this cave is named, makes his home. In addition to him, various rare mosses, ferns, insects, and bats also live here. Beautiful stalactites grow in the 200-meter-long horizontal cave, one particularly impressive example being called the "Linkenbolderer." The cave is always open on Ascension Day and on "Open Monument Day." You can also request guided tours by calling 07432/21265.

Hiking
The Linkenboldshöhle is an approx. 140 m long stalactite cave, it is only open two days a year, on Ascension Day and on the day of the open monument.
Tours outside of these days are possible on request from the Swabian Albverein, Onstmettingen local group.
Legend has it that haunted the Linkenbolder cave - one of the largest intact cave in the cave, the Linkenbolderer, was named after him.
