The Burgsteige leads steeply between vineyards up to Esslingen Castle. In the Seilergang between Hochwacht and Dicker Turm you can enjoy the view of Esslingen, even when it's raining.

A promising passage as an alternative to the castle relay. On the way to Esslingen Castle and down the path there is a nice change. Both paths are very steep and you should wear good shoes.
