The crooked house on the Klimtgasse
former pond mill - a half-timbered house that has been lowered on one side over the course of several centuries due to partial under-flushing through the underground mill-ditch. It is today the seat of a museum

Hiking

The house was built around 1680 as a fulling mill for cloth makers on the site of an old mill, first documented in the 13th century. The waterwheel was fed by a mill race from the Zillierbach stream. From the mid-19th century, the building served as a flour mill, and around 1890, it was converted into a residential building. For many years, the city administration used the house as its administrative headquarters.
