Challenging climbing up to Tignes. Beautiful spot for a break by the lake. It's a dead end at the top of the road but is a fun descent back to the dam

Great way to escape the busy main road. Take the right hand turn off down to the river, go through the small town and take the sign for Tignes 1800. Quiet and winding climb up through the ski slopes to the dam. Well worth the little bit of extra climbing.
