It's a long hike. If possible start from P3. Go early and take shuttle bus from P2 to P3. You can buy tickets in the bus. From P3 hike , the hike is doable within 6 -8 hrs.

Hiking
A little further down from Trolltunga, there's another small Troll Tongue for those less determined. The trail itself is breathtaking and worth the hike even without Troll Tongue.
