This heritage-listed site of the Körner sand works is unfortunately rarely open to visitors. At the time, it was the only sand extraction site in the area.

The Association of Friends of the Körner Sand Works has restarted the grinder in the disused sand mill north of Sindelfingen. The conservationists hope that the sand pit biotope will also benefit if sand is ground there for show purposes.
