The Bachläger waterfall in Grindelwald is part of the Milibach, which begins at the outlet of the Bachalpsee and flows into the Schwarze Lütschine in the valley. Above the waterfall, the water flows through a moor landscape of national importance. The water plunges as a waterfall in several rocky steps from 1950 meters to 1780 meters.

From the Bachsee, the Milibach (Mühlebach) winds its way down the mountain through a moorland of national importance and a protected area at the municipal level. The picturesque moorland leads to a waterfall, below which lies the hamlet of Bachläger.

Bachläger is the well-grassed main plateau (main part) of the Bach alpine area. The Bach mountain community uses the extensive alpine area, which ranges from 1,130 to 2,550 m above sea level.
