Mountaineering
The cozy Brotzeitalm at the foot of the spectacular Roßstein/Buchstein also rewards hikers who don't want to make the final journey up the Tegernsee twin mountains. The addition “Hochleger” distinguishes it from the Sonnbergalm Niederleger (not served), which is halfway up the climb from Bayerwald. If a hiker has climbed this route, they have passed it. He has now more than earned the snack and the fresh buttermilk.
