Very nice relaxed tour. The canyon is easy to walk through, only light climbing at first.
The mountain village tapes is not necessarily worth the effort to "climb" it. And the way back to the right over the gorge back to the starting point is partly downhill unclear, typically Cretan adventurous.

Extremely worthwhile short hike. Smaller climbs. Suitable for sure-footed children.
Only at a pool full of black water (depth unknown), which is climbed over on ammunition irons, smaller children need to be helped, as the ammunition irons mentioned for children are quite far apart.
There or back via the ancient Minoan path.

Hiking
This is the entrance to Kritsa Gorge. It would be nice if that could be read in the title.
I can highly recommend the gorge itself. As an older woman, I went several times myself. It has 3 difficult spots for inexperienced hikers, where you have to climb over a small difference in height or a shallow water hole (occasionally with wasps). Irons have been attached to 2 of these points for some time, and a retaining rope has been attached to the third point.
