Hiking
In 1814, Goethe not only enjoyed the view of Frankfurt here, but also the presence of Willemer's wife Marianne. Their rejuvenating friendship lasted until his death. In 1815, parts of Goethe's late work „West-östlicher Divan“ are said to have originated here. The garden and garden house with memorial are open free of charge to visitors from April (or Easter Sunday) until mid-October on Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm.

The Willemer Häuschen (also Willemerhäuschen and Willemer-Gartenhaus) is a classicist garden house from the early 19th century in Frankfurt am Main.
It became known through the poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's encounters there with Marianne von Willemer in 1814.
During the Second World War, the original building was largely destroyed in the air raids on Frankfurt am Main and subsequently rebuilt.
Today, the house contains a publicly accessible Goethe memorial site, which is classified by the Freies Deutsches Hochstift as "one of the two most important Goethe memorial sites in Frankfurt" alongside the Goethe House.
