Hiking

The Kaltenbach wilderness takes its name from the Kaltenbach, which is often dry, but as soon as it fills up with snowmelt or after a long period of rain, it becomes a small torrent that has cut deep into the small valley.
Rock towers and needles are the result of erosion in the limestone. Together with the Kaltenbach, they form a wild, romantic gorge that can be hiked over footbridges, stairs and bridges.

Absolutely wild and romantic path at the foot of the Traunstein. Relatively wide path. No problem with older children, as long as supervision is guaranteed!
