Extensive renovations were carried out in 1858, which helped determine the current appearance of the church. Among other things, one window opening was bricked up, two others were enlarged and three new window openings were broken open in the south wall. The church building work that took place at that time shows that the community was doing quite well financially at that time. In the years 1906/07 the church was restored again. The weather vane on the tower is a reminder of this. The painting of the church dates back to this time.

In Raben you will also find a small village church made of fieldstone. The 13th-century building has undergone some changes over time. The windows have been significantly enlarged and some have been added, and the original church tower has been replaced by a half-timbered tower. It is worth spending a little time here to discover the church.
