Hiking

This “adventure fountain” on Luxemburger Platz shows the biblical story of Noah's Ark, which gave it its name. The focal point of the fountain is Noah's Ark, made of bronze, with its inhabitants. The interplay of the water fountains shows the ark during the great flood and when you arrive safely on Mount Ararat. The fountain was designed and executed by the artist Johanna Körner and her daughter Stephanie von Estorff. It was completed in September 1999.
