Solitüde belongs to the urban area of the independent city of Flensburg and is located in the Mürwik district, directly on the Flensburg Fjord. To the west, the area borders Meierwik, which belongs to the neighboring town of Glücksburg. To the south, the Flensburg district of Friedheim adjoins. Solitüde is particularly known for its small, sheltered sandy beach on the Baltic Sea, which is valued by locals and visitors alike as a popular destination for relaxation and excursions.
