Denstone Parish Council commissioned the design of a barn-themed mural on a bus shelter initially as part of their annual Best Kept Village Competition bid before later forming it into a commemoration to Rose Edge, a much-loved pillar of the community.
As part of the village’s 2019 submission for the competition, it was mooted in a parish council meeting that the structure should be painted.

The seating gazebo has a mention of Burton Breweries so it may be that they funded/sponsored the equipment.
