The Mühlbachquellhöhle is one of the first river caves to be discovered in the Franconian Alb. Its source is one of the largest karst springs in northern Bavaria, the Mühlbach spring. This water-active and spacious cave system with a measured length of more than 10 km is scientifically researched by the cave researchers of the Karst Group Mühlbach (KGM).
