A 3000 is always worth it. The Piz Boè, which is so prominently enthroned on the Sella massif, is of course a perfect panoramic mountain. The ascent from Rifugio Boè is partly secured with wire ropes, but can be done entirely without via ferrata equipment if you are sure-footed and have a head for heights. There is a hut to stop at at the top of the summit.
