If you have already watched the sand martins in flight, you know what the sand hill is all about 😉😃. Otherwise, it's almost unimaginable that this place will be teeming with life when the residents are here again! What an experience!!! From around mid-April the sand martins return from their winter quarters to breed here and stay until around the end of August or beginning of September.
