The Protestant village church in Buch, built at the beginning of the 13th century, was rebuilt in 1709. In 1860 the new bell house and the tower were added. In 1893 an organ was installed. In 1925 and 1968 remains of medieval wall paintings were uncovered, depictions of saints from the Romanesque and Gothic styles, including John the Baptist on the east wall of the chancel and Martin and Christophorus in the nave.
