Fort near Nigtevecht is part of the Defense Line of Amsterdam. The fort is quietly located in the middle of nature and open on weekends. Then go on a discovery tour both in the fort itself and in the surrounding area and enjoy a delicious snack and drink in the restaurant.

Fort Nigtevecht is located along the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. The fort from 1892 is now hidden in the greenery and is part of the Defence Line of Amsterdam.

Fort Nigtevecht is used as a memorial, a place where the deceased is commemorated in a special place. There are more pictures of the fort on my previous tour komoot.de/tour/741158055. The pictures shown here are taken from the back and cannot currently be viewed from the hiking trail, which is entered through a gate.
