Capplebarrow was the third of nine tops on the Bannisdale Horseshoe. We approached it from Todd Fell, following a grassy path. Much of the Kentmere Horseshoe is visible from the summit of Capplebarrow, including, Yoke, Ill Bell, Frostwick, Thornthwaite Crag, Shipman Knotts, Kentmere Pike and Harter Fell.
