The richly decorated facade and the large domed roof over the projecting central section are eye-catching. The building was built in 1792 by the Viennese master builder Franz Wipplinger on behalf of the postmaster Josef Freiherrn von Fürnberg and its stylistic features show the transition from late baroque to early classicism.
