The food is great, the breakfast bombastic, what more could you ask for. In the evening, when the last train has left, you are almost all alone up here and have the chunks for you. It is exhilaratingly beautiful, if you get as creamy as I had it.

I can only recommend an overnight stay in the Brockenhotel... especially great, you can go up to the viewing platform at any time, it's worth it
