Hiking
The town of Caleta de Caballo is actually not a highlight in itself, which you have to see. It is a classic coastal town in the north which is very popular for surfers because of the waves. It was so exciting for me because it totally stood out in the monotony of the landscape in the typical white construction. If you walked along the coast like this in the desert of Playa de Famara, it always sparkled white in the distance. It reminds somehow of the "Schein giant" from Jim Knopf: More impressive from a distance than on site; o)

Hiking
Immediately adjacent to the 'Club La Santa', the largest European resort for competitive athletes, is the dreamy little place with the sonorous name 'Caleta de Caballo', which means 'Horse Bay'
