Road cycling
The road crosses the Blackwater river through a ford, which is often impractical for bicycles as the water level is a little too high.
The footbridge is a great alternative and, while narrow, it allows dry and safe passage across the watercourse.
Be careful if approaching from the south side of the river as there's a bend on the road and there is gravel on the road which makes it very slippery and dangerous if approached at speed.
