According to legend, the devil himself carved this path into stone so that sinful souls would get lost. During the chaos of war, this place served as a hiding place for the soldiers stationed at Prostkogel. On the rock walls you can see initials and symbols that were engraved by soldiers, hikers and lovers to create a sign for eternity.
