On the only dike-free section of the mainland coast of the Schleswig-Holstein North Sea, in the Schobüll district of Husum, the view extends far over the Wadden Sea. The Schobüller Forest covers 41 hectares. The forest was created at the beginning of the 20th century and at its highest point - a whopping 31 meters above sea level - offers a beautiful view over the Husum Bay.

The Schobüller Berg is 31 meters above sea level. NN one of the highest points on the Schleswig-Holstein North Sea coast. As an old moraine, the elevation goes back to the penultimate ice age. Today's heath landscape was created after the formerly dense forest was cleared in the Middle Ages. The area has been a landscape conservation area since 1954.
