Built on a former railway line, the cycle path currently connects Carpentras with Jonquieres. A further expansion to Orange is planned. Since the former railway embankment is often several meters high, you have wonderful views of the Provencal landscape.

Distance : 14,00 km. Niveau : Très facile. Durée : 60 min. Ce circuit entièrement sécurisé, emprunte l'ancienne voie ferrée. provence-a-velo.fr/equipements/chateauneuf-du-pape-orange/voie-verte---la-via-venaissia/provence-709943-1.html
It actually does continue further than highlighted, to Carpentras in the Southeast and almost to Orange in the west on less well-built trails. There it connects with the ViaRhôna trail system. There are also a couple of nice connections with more direct trails to the Rhône, for example from Sarrians on a very low-traffic road along the L'Ouvèze.
