Hiking

The blacksmith's chapel is beautifully situated in the middle of the Birkacher forest. At this place of silence, there are tables and benches directly at the chapel, inviting you to linger. Every year in the merry month of May, a May devotion takes place at the chapel and, following this, the church construction association Birkach invites you to a cozy get-together with coffee and cake.

The 7-Kapellen-Weg (7-Kapellen-Weg), which starts at the Siebenschläferkapelle in Stegaurach, passes here. This is the seventh and final chapel on the way. The sixth chapel is the Maria Patronin Bavaria chapel between Grasmannsdorf and Birkach.
