Very nice valley, but not on a racing bike, please. The surface is muddy or dry, at least with a lot of rubble, i.e. on foot or with wide tires.

Unfortunately, the surface is getting a bit old. The descent from Hermsdorf should be approached slowly, as there are always a few cross gullies.
Contrary to other opinions, the Zeitzgrund is easily accessible by racing bike up to the Janismühle. You have to have a good day because sometimes there are too many visitors (similar to the Mühltal).
