On the paths of our ancestors - the "White Hollow" ravine at Nussloch. Hollow paths are rarities that only exist in a few landscapes. In Baden-Württemberg it is mainly Kraichgau and Kaiserstuhl where we can find beautifully shaped hollow paths. Such a richly structured profile with loess packets from three ice ages, separated by the respective fossil soils, as "Die Weiße Hohl" shows, is a geological rarity even within Europe.
