At this bridge you can once again enjoy the great view and then leave the old summer dike. Suddenly the landscape changes: Instead of the wet meadows your way leads from here over extensive fields and meadows. In the distance the house Bürgel is visible. There is the Biological Station including a Roman museum housed. Why Romans? Well, as early as the fourth century, the Romans built a fort on the area of Haus Bürgel. From this derives also the name of the area: Kämpe comes from Campus = the field.
