Hiking

I like to make the short detour from Rohrhaus or Hirschgstemm here. The additional 20 meters in altitude and the stair climbing training are rewarded with a wonderful all-round view. Afterwards there are also bankers to rest.

Hiking

During the First World War, a military observation tower stood at the highest point of the Lainzer Tierpark. After its decay, the Hubertuswarte was built there. With good visibility you can see as far as the Ötscher. Especially nice: start at the Gütenbachtor, take a break at the Gasthaus Hirschgstemm and then hike on to the observation point.

The Hubertuswarte is located on the 508 m high Kaltbründlberg in the Lainzer Tiergarten in Vienna and is named after St. Hubertus, Bishop of Liège and patron saint of hunting.
The ascent is rewarded with a great view.
