Hiking
The Halterner Stausee reservoir is easily accessible by train. Trains run every 30 minutes from Münster and Wanne-Eickel.
At the train station, simply turn right, walk a short distance parallel to the railway line, and then go under the railway line through a small tunnel. Immediately after the tunnel, continue left. The rest of the route is self-explanatory.
