The new section of the Chemnitz Valley Cycle Route now leads north to the Markersdorf Museum Station. Opened in December 2016, this section represents a significant enhancement to the scenic landscape. It also offers the opportunity to admire interesting engineering feats, such as bridges and a tunnel through the Schusterstein massif, dating back to the railway's construction period.
