In summer, the outdoor facilities are used as a "vineyard" and are well attended.
The Asbach distillery, which was family-owned until 1991, supported the preservation for many years and planned to build a visitor center in the old walls right next to the company's headquarters in the 1980s. For this purpose, the entire building was measured and visualized using a 3D CAD system. The Asbach Visitor Center (ABC) was then built as a new building on Rechacker (Ingelheimer Straße) not far from the shipping warehouse.
