A street, along the harbor of Enkhuizen, with beautifully restored houses. Here you will also find the entrance to the inner museum of the Zuiderzee museum.

The Pepper House.
According to the annual stones built in 1625, probably as a residence and warehouse for the merchant Pieter van Beresteyn. In use by the VOC since 1682. The large plaque "De Cost goes before the benefit" dates from this time.
After the bankruptcy of the Company, the property changed hands several times.
