Mountain biking

Fahrentriesch, above an open space. From here the path bends towards Quernst. There is a half-timbered building nearby, which can be used for rest or as a shelter in bad weather. Exemplary signage is also available here. Following information about the Kelllerwald-Edersee National Park, the landscape on Fahrentriesch with rare bristle grass turf was created in the early 14th century as a clearing island. Heath remains, hat trees, grasslands, heaths and ravines are remnants of rural land use.
