The bridge built in 1887 over the Eder exists to this day. It can still be done at low tide and so that will remain so in the future, the bridge was last restored in 1989.

The bridge is completely accessible (as of 04 November 2018). Only a little water flows through the old stream bed of the Eder. At low tide you can go over the bridge and there are also many paths in the Edersee available, where you can go for a walk.
