The media also play their part in the popularity of the Perlenbachtal. In particular, the well-known television journalist Jean Pütz had campaigned as a sponsor for the implementation of nature conservation goals in the Perlenbachtal since 1997 and thus contributed to the success. In the meantime, when the daffodils are in bloom in April, the area has become a popular destination for thousands of nature lovers who, unlike in the past, now – with a few exceptions – adhere to the rules of the nature reserve, in particular the ban on picking.
