Hiking
One of the main highlights on my walk has to be the footpath by the River Douglas opposite Tarleton. It is more like a curved pathway where you can access from the A59 Liverpool Road near the roundabout. You'll more likely enjoy the peace and serenity away from the busy traffic (providing it is good weather for a quiet outdoor walk).
