The maid Magdalena from Rehehausen was accused of causing a city fire on March 12, 1562. 17 people and 400 cattle died. The deed was done out of jealousy. The maid had set fire to her master's stables. Nevertheless, she was charged with witchcraft and an unusual witch trial took place, as a result of which she was burned as a witch in 1563. Below that is the executioner's house in the village.
