Hiking

With the exception of the ruins of the church, the blazes of March 22, 1945 left nothing of Andreasplatz with its medieval character. After the war, what was then a modern, closed building ensemble grew here instead. A replica of this peculiar medieval half-timbered house was added in 2010. Strange above all because the floor space of the ground floor has almost doubled due to the projections of the building on the second floor!

Hiking

The inverted sugar loaf is located to the east next to the pillar house at the northeast exit from Andreasplatz to Hohen Weg. It is characterized by bold projections on three façade fronts. The reason for the unusual construction was to utilize a small plot of land. The ground floor of the house has a floor area of only 17 m², while the second floor has an area of 29 m².
