In the approximately 2 km long Mohlsbachtal there are predominantly moist to wet fallow grasslands. The Mohlsbach is mostly straightened and more deeply deepened; only in the upper section does it have shorter, almost natural running routes. Several, mostly natural spring streams flow into the Mohlsbach, some of which flow through beech forests and others through spruce forests.
