Elbogen already had a railway connection to Nové Sedlo u Lokte (Neusattl) in 1877 through the Elbogener Localbahn. In 1901 the route was extended to Krásný Jez (Schönwehr) to connect to the Marienbad-Karlsbad route. Since 1996, only the connection to Nové Sedlo has been operated, where there is connection to the trains of the main line Chomutov – Cheb.
