Hiking
Both of the footbridges between Brydekirk and Annan have been washed away. You can still walk along both river banks, you just cannot cross the river. The pub in Brydekirk is long closed.

Hiking
The trails that run up either side of the River Annan between Annan and Brydekirk make for a pleasant route between the two Scottish towns

Hiking
Part of the Annandale way, this can be made into a lovely circular walk along one side of the river from Annan to Brydekirk and back along the other side.
