Hiking
As long as a charred trunk remains from a Canary pine after a fire, it will sprout again and the pine will live on.
The German Scott S. had started the fire when he wanted to burn his used toilet paper.

Hiking
It's unbelievable how these completely charred pine trees have recovered so well. When you touch the bark it feels like charcoal and your fingers are black with soot. But the trees are sprouting fresh new growth in every corner.

Hiking
A small deviation from the path at the top of Montana El Gallo, and you will have a superb view (very localized, you have to look for it!!) On the mouth of the Tajogaite volcano born in 2021: incredible!
