Once you reach the summit at this point on the Yoshida Trail, you have 1452 meters of elevation gain or 7.5 km in length behind you and can finally rest from the exertion. For the last 100m of elevation gain, there are often traffic jams in the morning, as the path becomes a bit more complicated and some hikers, especially in groups, have difficulties mastering this passage.
